Evpatoria trading port is a modern universal transport hub that specializes in reloading general and bulk cargoes, rolling loads (Ro-Ro). Extraction of sea sand and its shipment to ships and vehicles. The port is located on the northern shore of the Kalamitsky Gulf of Evpatoria Bay of the Crimean Peninsula. Navigation in the port lasts a whole year. The port has a loading and unloading complex consisting of two cargo sections: one in Yevpatoria, the second on Lake. Donuzlav, which is located 32 km from the city of Evpatoria. The water area of this section is connected to the sea by an entrance canal 1.4 miles long and up to 11.4 meters deep.
The total area of the main production area of the port is about 24.55 hectares, in particular:
6.4 hectares - the city of Evpatoria, pl. Seamen, 1;
4.1 hectares - the northern spit of the lake. Donuzlav;
14.05 hectares - The southern spit of the lake. Donuzlav.
For today the port has 8 berths with a total length of 1486 lm, in particular:
in Evpatoria, there are 5 berths (No. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) with a total length of 881 m with project depths of about berths up to 5.8 m;
on the southern spit of the lake. Donuzlav - 2 berths with a total length of 453 m with a depth of berths of 9.0 m;
on the northern spit of the lake. Donuzlav - 1 berth 152 m long with a depth of 6.4 m at the pier.
A terminal for receiving Ro-Ro / ferry vessels and transloading heavy vehicles, wheeled vehicles and passengers was created in the cargo area in Yevpatoria. In general, the port can handle up to 30 thousand cars per year. The processing time of vehicles in the port is from 4 to 7 hours. The port has parking, which can take up to 150 heavy vehicles or separate
semi-trailers. In addition, regular shipments of small consignments of packaged cargo and passengers of the Turkish direction with a frequency of 4 to 7 vessels per month were carried out through the port. In the cargo area of the lake. Donuzlav is processing mainly bulk cargo. The port has developed infrastructure, energy supply system, convenient marine approaches and can receive ships with draft up to 8 m and a carrying capacity of up to 12 thousand tons.
The main activities of the port are:
Functioning of the infrastructure of water transport.
Transshipment of cargo from sea to road transport and back.
Providing temporary storage of goods.
Activity of sea passenger transport.
Loading of sand and gravel on water quarries of the lake. Donuzlav method of hydraulic loading.
Universal and specialized reloading complexes operate in the port, the total installed capacity of which is 3.3 million tons per year.
At berth No.3 there are two electric columns. The berth is equipped with a ramp for ramp of vessels with a horizontal way of loading / unloading with a width of 18 m. The berth can receive ships with draft up to 5.2 m. There are two electric and two water columns on berth No.4. The berth is equipped with a ramp under the ramp of vessels with a horizontal way

The terminal has an indoor temporary storage warehouse for packaged cargoes an area of about 580 m2. Terminal No. 3 (Cargo area Northern Spit). Specialization - bulk cargo (sand). For cargo handling, the cargo berth of the lake is used. Donuzlav. The equipment of the terminal is a portal crane "Sokol" with a capacity of 16/20/32 t., A portal crane "Albatross" with a capacity of 10/20 t., One crawler crane, 2 bulldozers. The area of open warehouses at the terminal is 12.0 thousand m2.
The port has the ability to provide services for reloading any types of cargo that are not hazardous. The port has a checkpoint across the state border, which makes it possible to handle cargoes for export and import.
The port provides a full range of mooring and towing services within the port water area of various sizes with a draft of up to 8 meters and a carrying capacity of up to 12,000 tons, as well as offshore structures and structures.
Possibilities for cargo storage are provided by the availability of open areas of 39,671 square meters and closed warehouses with an area of 803 square meters at the port.
Having its own passenger fleet, the port actively works in the field of sea tourism, carries out pleasure trips and excursions along the coast of the Kalamitsky Gulf and the city of Sevastopol.
