Kerch trading port

On the territory of the branch of the State Unitary Enterprise "KMP" "Kerch trading port», there is a border crossing point for international sea freight, passenger and ferry services with a constant round-the-clock operation. The port is open to ships all year round. In the port there are branches of all controlling services: customs, border guard, plant quarantine, veterinary, environmental inspection. The railway connects Kerch with the industrial regions of Ukraine and Russia. The Kerch-Dzhankoy motorway is part of the M17 (E97) Kherson-Dzhankoy-Theodosia-Kerch highway and connects the port with the international motorways M05 (E-95) and M18 (E107). The ferry crossing Crimea-Caucasus provides a direct access to the transport infrastructure of the North Caucasus region of the Russian Federation. Cargo operations in the port are made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The branch of the State Unitary Enterprise "KMP" "Kerch commercial port" includes a universal transshipment complex, a passenger terminal, which allows processing any types of cargo, both at the berths of the port, and in the roadstead in the variant "board-board" and receive passenger ships. The restrictions for berths coming to berths are determined by mandatory regulations on the Kerch seaport: length - 200 m and draft up to 8.0 m. At anchorage, it is possible to handle more than 40 vessels at the same time with draft in a cargo of up to 20 m without length limitation. The port is a universal cargo complex - it processes a wide range of bulk and general cargoes and has experience in handling liquid cargo and cargo in containers. Loading equipment and technological support allow to withstand high loading rates of a wide range of goods. The passenger terminal (Maritime Station) is equipped in accordance with the requirements of border and customs control for the admission of passengers of both incoming and outgoing vessels from the port. Existing conditions allow servicing passenger ships with a length of up to 80 m at the berth. The existing capacities allow processing up to 3 million tons of cargo directly at the berths. Prospective development of the port provides for the modernization and development of existing transshipment facilities, as well as the creation of new ones.
